The Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management has expressed her readiness to carry out President Muhammadu Buhari ‘s ( PMB ) directive to implement “conditional cash transfers” to be paid to the most vulnerable for the next two months following stay at home order as a result of Coronavirus outbreak in Nigeria.
Is good news for Npower volunteers who are identified as the most vulnerables along side traders and farmers under “Social Investment Scheme ” of the federal republic of Nigeria.
President Muhammadu Buhari while addressing Nigerians yesterday said, “For the most vulnerable in our society, I have directed that the conditional cash transfers for the next two months be paid immediately. Our Internally displaced persons will also receive two months of food rations in the coming weeks.
Furthermore, I have directed that a three month repayment moratorium for all TraderMoni, MarketMoni and FarmerMoni loans be implemented with immediate effect”
President Muhammadu Buhari gave this directive on Sunday Match 29th 2020 while making a speech on the current dreaded coronavirus that is going viral.
Sequel to the above directive, the Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster management via her Minister, Hajiya Sadiya Farouq responded on Monday match 30th by saying that the Ministry has mapped out strategy to implement President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive.
