The statistics of the 19 worst countries hit by COVID-19 pandemic has been released with Italy recording 14,681 deaths out of the total number of 58,433 casualties.

According to CNN, Spain, USA, France and UK occupies 2nd, 3rd and 4th position respectively.

China where the virus broke out from occupies 5th position with 3,332 deaths.

Breakdown of the statistics is given below:
Italy: 14,681
Spain: 11,198
US: 7,064
France: 6,507
UK: 3,611
China: 3,322
Iran: 3,294
Netherlands: 1,487
Germany: 1,275
Belgium: 1,143
Switzerland: 604
Turkey: 425
Sweden: 351
Brazil: 327
Portugal: 246
Indonesia: 181
Canada: 178
Korea: 174
