The Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, is no doubt one of the leading companies in the development of 5G globally.
Be that as it may, it is not on the same page with some governments especially the American government.
Notwithstanding, the company says is forging ahead and breaking new grounds.
On Monday 27th July 2020, the company wrote on its official website that its participated in the 2020 Better World Online Summit.
The theme for this conference was “Working Together for a Better World”.
At this conference, Huawei’s rotating chairman, Guo Ping, said that there is a need for collaboration to create new opportunities.
He added, Huawei is proud of its 5G commercial success, and fully releasing the 5G network dividend.
As of July, there have been more than 90 million 5G users worldwide.
Guo Ping pointed out: “The global 5G deployment has come to an end, and the next phase is focused on: developing industry applications and releasing 5G network dividends“.
Guo added that in the current context of the global economy, operators should also focus on the present and the future.
He believes that operators should build networks with precision to maximize network value.
To this end, Guo Ping has three recommendations
Firstly, lay much emphasis on experience. Then, spend money on cutting edge technology. Also, maximize the value of the existing network.
Secondly, make full use of the existing 4G and FTTx networks. Also, carry out overall coordination and precise planning with the newly built 5G network.
Thirdly, 5G network deployment will cover priority hotspot areas and key industry applications to fully release the dividends of 5G network.
Huawei believes that the industry needs collaboration to succeed.
Guo Ping emphasized: “Huawei will make full use of its capabilities in these strategic technologies according to different needs.
We will focus on scenario-based solutions, and fully release the dividends of 5G to help Huawei’s customers and partners achieve business success.”
To truly achieve 5G commercial success, the industry needs collaboration.
Only with uniform industry standards and co-construction of an ecosystem can we better achieve scale replication.
