Nigerian front line activist, Reno Omokri has moved to raise money for the victims of #LekkiMassacre.
Reno Omokri disclosed this on Thursday morning being 22nd October, 2020 on his verified Facebook account recognized as “Reno Omokri”.
Reno who has already committed the sum of N500, 000 to the crowd funding is calling on any respected and reputed NGO or religious body in Nigeria to immediately start a fund for victims of the #LekkiMassacre with his full support.
He regretted that he would have loved to start such a fund raising himself, but he alleged fear that Buhari’s led Government will end up blackmailing him.
His full statement reads: “I call on any respected and reputed NGO or religious body in Nigeria to immediately start a fund for victims of the #LekkiMassacre of unarmed, peaceful #EndSARS protesters.
I pledge to make an immediate donation of ₦500,000. I would have start such a fund myself, but trust me, the Buhari government will blackmail me! Please reach me at info@renoomokri.org when you have set up the fund.
I appeal to opportunistic beggars not to flood my inbox with begging.
