Kogi State University, Anyigba now known as Prince Abubakar University has on Monday being 9th November 2020 matriculated its 21st set of Students.
The Ceremony which was marked on a low key due to COVID-19 pandemic saw a total of 4,418 students matriculated into different degree program of the institution.
Speaking at the occasion, the vice Chancellor of the Institution, Professor Marietu Tenuche appealed to the admitted Students to be good Ambassadors of their various homes as any act inimical to the well being and development of the Institution shall not be tolerated.
She particularly emphasized that cultism which has become “social norms” amongst some class of students is not welcomed in the School as anyone caught shall be used as scapegoat.
In a remark, one of the matriculated students, Monday O, gave thanks to God for counting his worthy to be among the newly admitted students promising that the Institution will surely witness peace, growth and development during their era.
The occasion was attended by principal staff of the School, the news in stake students and some wellwishers who maintained physical social distance outside the auditorium where the matriculation took place.
