The representatives of Npower beneficiaries for Batches A, B and C have rejected the new Empowerment scheme announced by  Minister Sadiya In Collaboration With CBN.

The body issued the statement on Saturday morning barely less than 24 hours that the minister disclosed the latest development.

The body emphasised that their agitation is for either permanent job or robust exit package.

The body therefore threatened to embark on mother of all protest come on 7th December, 2020 at Abuja that will see them sleeping and waking at Aso Villa’s gate until their demands are meant.

Part of their statement reads: “We the entire exited Batches A & B NPOWER beneficiaries including the prospective Batch C members hereby publicly reject the so called CBN economic empowerment and entrepreneurship option which is very far from our demand and not in any way close to The President and the Vice President promises during the 2019 general election.

Our demand is clear, ” Absorption or Robust exit package ” is what we are agitating for not some kind of empowerment or entrepreneurship option as purported by CBN and Disaster Minister.

We hereby advise the Disaster minister to stop mocking herself thinking she is mocking NPOWER beneficiaries because the God we serve will never let us see shame.

She should ease off our way and allow the government to treat our case the way it should be treated.

We hereby encourage every single beneficiary to prepare his/her mattress and blanket for the 7th December, 2020 Ceaseless protest, because we will sleep and wake in front of Aso rock and NASS, also prepare your CV to apply for a job in the Aso Rock and NASS.

Our demands will be met before our departure. Don’t be entice by the CBN purported economic empowerment and entrepreneurship option.

Of course you all know it’s their usual way of deceiving the gullible masses to leave them in perpetual bondage, we refuse to be used and dumbed.

There is enough to let you know the level of callousness in our leaders on issues that concerns the youths.

7th December, 2020 ceaseless protest is no going back. Plan to be in attendance; join our fellow comrades on telegram via the link as we hold our meeting this weekend to strategize on our moves.
