Some students of GSS Idu Koro in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have called for the investigation of the Principal of the School over what they described as “unpresented corruption”.
Students who pleaded to speak on the condition of anonymity unanimously said, ” the Principal identified as Mr Ademola Bolaji is looting the school and wrecking parents of their hard earned money as he often deprives students of materials paid for”.
They said after paying school fee of N35,500 comprising of: uniforms, spot wears, Cardigan and textbooks, Mr Principal will still not give those materials “.
They said those who try to be inquisitive about these materials after months of payment are often earmarked and victimized by the Principal
They added that all effort made by Parent Teachers Association of the school to bring the Principal’s excess under control has proved abortive.
They revealed, ” at the moment, the school which hitherto has huge population is gradually becoming a shadow of itself as Students and staff are leaving in their numbers on daily basis on the account that the said principal must has cheated them one way or the other”.
They however, appealed to the Minister of Education, Economic & Financial Crime Commission ( EFCC ), Human Rights Radio and Television Abuja, Activists and other relevant bodies to come to their aid by urgently investigate the said principal “.
