Many Nigerians are reacting to the missing $75,000 an equivalent of about N420 million ( an exchange rate of $75,000xN560 ) from All Progressive Congress’s ( APC ) office Abuja.
This announcement came by the party barely in less than 24 hours after GOVERNOR YAYAHA BELLO of Kogi State purchased a nomination form in pursuit of his presidential ambition under the platform of APC come 2023 general election.
While many Nigerians are reacting in variously, popular Nigerian Doctor Gbenga, has questioned the disappearance of the money from APC ‘s Secretariat shortly after Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State picked nomination form.
According to Doctor Gbenga, on his twitter handle in a series of tweets writes, “Why is it that after Governor Yahaya Bello Picks Nomination Form, $75,000 disappeared from APC’s Secretariat? Could it be that these people in APC are using Nigerians to play? How can Governor Yahaya Bello who is paying percentage salaries and sacking workers indiscriminately even think of using N100 Million state money to purchase the form? Did he really purchase the form or they are using us to catch fun?”
Doctor Gbenga writes further, “well, anything is possible under this APC ‘s led government, I recall with sense of humour how cobras were swallowing money shortly when APC came on board then. That happened in JAMB’s office and so many MDAs of government. So, is an another era of drama for APC and Nigerian society all together”.
He concluded, ” only God knows what these APC people are up to in the coming election but whichever way, they would be amazed by Nigerians revolt “.
Recall APC on Thursday morning has announced the disappearance of $75,000 from her Secretariat, a money believed to be part of the nomination forms sold by the party ahead of 2023 general elections.
