Senator Adeleke Ademola of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ), has defeated the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola of All Progressive Congress ( APC ), to become Osun state Governor elect.
In an election conducted by Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC ) on Saturday being 16th July 2022, Senator Ademola Adeleke won in seventeen Local Government Areas out of thirsty Local Government Areas of the state to to emerge winner.
The breakdown of the results which shows twenty – eight thousand and three hundred and six votes difference is as follows:
