A legal icon and a household name in Kogi state and Nigeria at large, Chief Ogwu James Onoja ( SAN ), has been ordained as a Deacon of United Evangelical Church ( UEC ) formerly Qua Iboe Church, at Ofante Ogugu in Olamaboro Local Area of Kogi State.
The ordination was performed on Sunday being 14th August 2022, by the Laity and pastors of the church.
Responding, Chief Ogwu James Onoja ( SAN ), who was overwhelmed and humbled by the recognition said: ” Deaconship: the greatest of my appointments and recognitions.
I had looked forward to the day that I would take after my father, late Deacon Job Idoko Onoja in the humble and dignifying service in the house of the Lord”.
Chief Ogwu James Onoja ( SAN ), who expressed his kind appreciation to all the officials and members of the Church and invited guests also retreated that he would not disappoint the church as he further promised to serve devotedly.
UEC is an ancient church that preaches salvation, good conduct, faith and repercussion of living a worldly life.
