Agada’s Sons and Daughters has been commended for their collective effort which led to the realization of many community self funded projects.

The Chairman of Agada Development Association, Alhaji Hussain Ajabi, and the National secretary, Mr Michael Omakoji Sani made the commendation during the Association’s quarterly meeting held at Lokoja on Saturday being 26th November 2022.

In a commique, they thanked Agada’s Sons and Daughters for their interest to develop Agada community emphasising that, the ongoing clinic building which saw the building rafted is of particular interest that attracted commendation.

They further appealed to Agada’s Sons and Daughters to show more financial commitment towards the clinic building and also called on those who have not contributed or donated towards the clinic building to do so as the project approaches 80% completion.

In a remark, the former President of the Association, Elder Francis Ojoh, said he has observed with great dismay that some sons and Daughters of Agada who are well to do have refused to show their commitment despite Association’s outcry for their support.

He therefore appealed to those who have been initiating and executing Agada’s community projects to continue as their effort was not in vain adding that those who have chosen to be bench-warmers or spectators will soon be hiding their faces in shame as he said with optimism that all the projects embarked upon by the Association for the benefit of Agada community shall be completed within a record time.

The meeting which was well represented by members across the country also witnessed extradinary entertainment as Lokoja’s Branch of the Association made enough food available for attendees aside usual individual effort of Alhaji Hussain Ajabi of providing fresh fish pepper soup along enough drink to wine and dine.

Meanwhile, donation into the third phase of Agada clinic project has commenced.

In a press statement issued shortly after the meeting, the chairman of the Association, Alhaji Hussain Ajabi, appealed to Agada’s Sons and daughters as well as well wishers to donate generously more than ever before in order to ensure project completion within a record time.
