Gabriel Isah Odiba Emerges As A Winner Of A.D.A Presidential Election To Succeed Alhaji Hussaini Ajabi

Mr Gabriel Isah Odiba has emerged as Agada Development Association ( A.D.A ) National President having defeated his rival Mr John Shado with a wide merging.

Mr Gabriel Isah Odiba, scored a total votes of thirty six ( 36 ) to emerge as a winner while his closest opponent, Mr John Shado scored six ( 6 ).

The election which was conducted at Agada’s Market Square at the morning hour on 26th December 2022 after a setback witnessed on 25th December 2022, had a total number of forty two ( 42 ) delegates drawn across the thirty six states of the federation including Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

In an election conducted by a four ( 4 ) man electoral officers led by Elder Francis Ojoh, Mr Benjamin Musa, who was nominated from Minna Branch of A.D.A to contest for the post of National President earlier stepped down for Mr Gabriel Isah Odiba on the ground that he acknowledged him as his elder brother and as such he couldn’t contest against him.

Others elected unopposed are: Mr Daniel Amuda Isah as vice president, While the posts of National Secretary and Assistant National Secretary went to Mr Hassan Abalaka and Mr Sunday Onuche Ademu respectively.

Similarly, Mr Joseph Adebu was also elected unopposed as the National Treasurer, and the post of Financial Secretary went to Mr Sunday Yusuf.

Mr Noah Attah and Elder Jacob Ogwu Ocheni were elected as Public Relation Officer ( PRO ) and Proprietor to secondary school respectively.

In his acceptance speech, Mr Gabriel Isah Odiba, thanked Agada’s Sons and daughters for considering it worthy to serve as A.D.A’s President promising that he will never let them down.

Mr Gabriel Isah Odiba also thanked the outgoing President, Alhaji Hussaini Ajabi for setting a measure of standard for the Association adding that with his word of advice he will do his best to match his intimidating record of achievements glaring in Agada’s community for everyone to see.

Agada Development Association ( A.D.A ) is apolitical social organisation with a mandate to carter for the welfare of the members, provides development for Agada and its environ as well as ensures peace, unity and progress in Agada community.
