Pastor Mathew James Eleojo of Solemn Faith International Church, Port-harcourt has said living a joyful life is the sure secret to prosperity and a healthy life.
Pastor Mathew James Eleojo, made the revelation during the Church service that held on Sunday being 13th August 2023.
Preaching on the topic: Engaging the Force of Joy ( Sub topic: the release of Healing) with the Bible readings from Proverbs 17: 22, Joel 1: 12, Genesis 1: 28 and Exodus 23: 25 – 26 among others, he said, to live in joy always is to live in the strength of the almighty continually.
He admonished the congregation to embrace a joyful life stressing that to step into the realm of double portion of blessing as documented in the book of Joel 2: 22 – 23 and Isaiah 61 : 3 – 7, one needs to live a joyful life.
Pastor Mathew James Eleojo, explained that ” Joy is an essential virtue requires for a ceaseless triumph in a journey to fulfilment of destiny”.
Pastor Mathew revealed that God himself likes the word joy that it appeared 88 times in 22 books of old testament whilst it appears 57 times also in 18 Books of the New testament.
He added that to enforce joy in order to release healing, one needs to make a joyful noise, rejoice in the Lord, rejoice in truth, dwell in holy ghost but not iniquity as referenced in the book of Psalms 88: 18, Acts 2: 1- 7 among others.
He concluded that to enjoy joyful life, christians are encouraged to seek God’s wisdom, love God’s instructions, be born again and be a vessel for God to use.
Whilst praying to God to give the congregation grace to live a joyful life, Pastor Mathew also charged them to be fervent in prayers in order to enjoy God’s direction.
Earlier, there was a special number by Solemn Glorious voice Choir who sang to the glory of God.
