At Solemn Faith International Church, today, Mrs Hope Matthews delivered a powerful sermon on “Understanding the Secret of Manifestations,” using Romans 8:19 and 2 Kings 2:1-15 as her foundational scriptures.
She stressed that manifestations begin internally, requiring introspection and the readiness to act, as supported by Ecclesiastes 3:18 and 2 Kings 7:3. Pastor Hope explained that manifestation demands active participation, emphasizing the necessity of taking initiative, citing Romans 10:20 and 1 Timothy 5:25.
Preparation, she said, is crucial for manifestation, as outlined in passages like Exodus 19:10-11 and Acts 4:16.
She linked divine manifestation to focused vision, reserved for those aligned with God’s purpose, according to Romans 8:19.
Pastor Hope revealed that expectation, based on Proverbs 23:18, is key to experiencing manifestations, and urgency often accompanies those near their breakthrough. Wisdom, based on scriptures like Exodus 31:3, plays a pivotal role in manifestation, guiding believers toward God’s plans for their lives. She emphasized the importance of unwavering faith, drawing from Matthew 8:10, and warned against the dangers of immaturity and a lack of vision.
As she concluded, she reaffirmed that wisdom is essential to maximizing God’s blessings, using Proverbs 5:1 to drive her point home.
Also preaching, Pastor Matthew James Ele-Ojo, in his sermon on “The Exploit of Wisdom (Part 2),” drew from Psalm 104:4, Proverbs 4:7, and Romans 8:19 to emphasize the necessity of wisdom in spiritual and practical life.
He illustrated the power of wisdom through biblical figures like Abraham and David, citing Genesis 12:1-4 and Daniel 9:2 as examples.
Pastor Ele-Ojo stressed the consequences of lacking wisdom, equating it to ignorance and drawing attention to Numbers 27:20.
He called the congregation to embrace wisdom for success, quoting Ecclesiastes 8:1 and Daniel 12:3.
Pastor Ele-Ojo further explained that while faith is essential, it must be paired with wisdom, grounded in Proverbs 4:7. He warned against the dangers of operating with faith without wisdom, calling it foolishness, while possessing wisdom without action is laziness.
Finally, he urged the congregation to apply wisdom in all aspects of life to achieve transformation and success.
