UDAMA IGALA Worldwide Pays Courtesy Visit to Onu IGALA, Abuja

The national body of  Udama Igala World-Wide , one of the most celebrated sociocultural organizations in IGALA land, yesterday being 26th October 2024 paid a courtesy visit to the Onu IGALA, Abuja, Chief James Alabi Okai.

According to the National Chairman of UDAMA IGALA Worldwide, Mallam Kerimu Paul, the visit was an opportunity to thank Chief James Alabi Okai, for his exemplary leadership, which has positively impacted the Igala community in Abuja.

Speaking as well, the National Secretary of the Association, Mr. Sani Michael Omakoji, expressed appreciation for Chief Okai’s unwavering support of the Igala community in Abuja, particularly the UDAMA group, and emphasized that his efforts deserve commendation.

In a similar vein, Mr. Akoh Muhammed, one of the UDAMA IGALA Worldwide leaders from Olamaboro, commended Chief Okai for his dedication to Igala sons and daughters, noting that his efforts have strengthened the Igala voice in Abuja. He further urged Chief Okai to continue to advocate for employment and appointments for deserving Igala individuals within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and beyond.

In response, Chief James Alabi Okai, thanked UDAMA IGALA Worldwide for being true ambassadors of the Igala Kingdom.

He praised the group as one of the finest sociocultural organizations to emerge from Igala land and promised to continue supporting them throughout his life.

The visit included members of the national executive council, along with leaders from the nine local government areas of Kogi East.

They were also accompanied by one of the Association’s patrons, Alhaji Gowon Yakubu.

Chief James Alabi Okai holds the esteemed chieftaincy title of “Ogah Ogwu-Attah” of the Igala Kingdom, a title revered by Igala sons and daughters worldwide.
