At Solemn Faith International Church, located at Road 21, Plot 14, Federal Housing Estate, Woji, Port Harcourt, Pastor Mrs. Hope Matthew delivered a soul-stirring message on The Unlimited Power of Faith (Part 3).
Drawing from biblical texts such as 1 Samuel 7:9-12 and Romans 4:19-21, she delved into the essence of faith and its transformative power in the life of a believer.
Pastor Hope Mathew, defined faith as the act of accepting and receiving God’s word as absolute truth, referencing John 1:14, John 8:32, and John 17:7.
She emphasized that faith also means trusting in God’s faithfulness, as illustrated in Psalms 89:18,33 and Isaiah 25:1.
She highlighted the necessity of faith in navigating life’s challenges, stating that faith is essential to survive the storms and hurdles that everyone inevitably faces.
With scriptural support from Matthew 8:22-27, Matthew 14:26, and Proverbs 24:10, Pastor Hope reminded the congregation that faith fortifies believers against despair and equips them to rise above difficulties.
In her message, she expounded on the nature of faith, stating that it enables believers to see the invisible, dare the impossible, and experience the incredible.
She cited examples such as Abraham’s obedience in Genesis 12:1-4, Esther’s boldness in Esther 4:15-16, and the promise of unimaginable blessings found in 1 Corinthians 2:9.
Pastor Hope passionately proclaimed that faith must be rooted in God’s word to be effective.
She warned that any claim of faith outside the foundation of scripture is a gamble.
Her encouragement resonated powerfully: faith, when active, has the capacity to silence storms, and the incredible becomes achievable when believers fully trust God. She challenged the congregation to emulate the biblical heroes of faith, who overcame life’s adversities through unwavering trust in God.
She concluded by affirming that the fulfillment of destiny often hinges on making the impossible possible, and faith is the catalyst for such transformation. “When faith is at work, incredible things will come forth,” she declared, leaving the congregation inspired to embrace a life of steadfast belief in God’s promises.
The service underscored the vital role of faith in achieving victory, fulfilling destiny, and experiencing God’s unlimited power.
