The IKO UKOLA MABE Organisation, a socio-cultural body committed to promoting the Igala Kingdom and raising awareness on issues affecting Igala and Bassa communities in Kogi East, has praised the Onus IGALA Forum in Abuja for its remarkable efforts in fostering unity, a vital pillar of development.
Speaking at the inaugural edition of the association’s almanac launch held over the weekend in Abuja, the Coordinator, Mrs. Mabe Okai, commended the forum’s strides in bringing together Igala and Bassa people under a shared vision of progress and harmony.
During an interview with ourworldgist at the event, which took place at the palace of Onu Okai on Saturday, November 30, 2024, she expressed delight in the forum’s activities and emphasized the importance of recognizing and encouraging such efforts to inspire further achievements.
Mrs. Okai noted the significance of seeing Igala and Bassa people united under one platform, working collaboratively for a brighter future for the kingdom.
She highlighted that this unity represents a positive trajectory for the communities involved.
