The Senator representing Kogi East in the National Assembly, Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho, has generously distributed bags of rice and other food items to the people of his constituency in celebration of the Christmas season.
The distribution, which covered all nine local government areas in his constituency, was aimed at supporting the less privileged members of the community to enjoy a more comfortable Christmas celebration.
Speaking through his representative, Ibrahim Ahmadu, Senator Echocho emphasized the importance of love, peace, and generosity during the festive season, particularly toward those in need.
“We are distributing rice to various local governments across the nine local government areas in the Kogi East senatorial district. We believe it will go a long way in helping some families celebrate Christmas appropriately,” he stated.
Echocho highlighted that the food packages were not restricted to any specific group but were intended for all residents of Kogi East who could benefit from the gesture.
Additionally, the Senator urged individuals to use the holiday season as an opportunity to pray for the economic growth and development of their district, state, and the nation as a whole.
