On Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Solemn Faith International Church, located at Road 21, Plot 14, Federal Housing Estate, Woji, Port Harcourt, Pastor Mathew Eleojoh James delivered an impactful sermon on The Manifestation of the Spirit of Wisdom.
Drawing from key scriptural references such as Isaiah 11:1-3 and 1 Corinthians 12:7-10, he emphasized the profound role of divine wisdom in shaping the lives of believers.
Pastor Elo-Ojo began by defining the Spirit of Wisdom as the raw manifestation of God’s wisdom in a mortal man. Using the biblical account of King Solomon, he illustrated how wisdom is not merely intellectual knowledge but a divine endowment that influences speech, decisions, and actions.
He pointed out that wisdom is evidenced through mighty words and mighty works, as seen in figures like Joseph, Moses, and Daniel.

Beyond words, he stressed that wisdom manifests in mighty works. Citing passages such as Mark 6:2 and Proverbs 3:19, he highlighted that God Himself demonstrated wisdom in the creation of the universe.
This same wisdom, he said, was imparted to individuals like Bezalel and Aholiab in Exodus 31, enabling them to execute intricate craftsmanship for the Tabernacle.
The sermon also explored why believers need the Spirit of Wisdom. Pastor Elo-Ojo asserted that wisdom is essential for reigning in life, as Proverbs 8:14-15 states that kings rule by wisdom.
