Port Harcourt – The General Overseer of Solemn Faith International Church, Pastor Mathew Eleojoh James has declared that stewardship is the key to living a fruitful and fulfilled life.

Speaking during the Sunday service at the church located at Road 21, Plot 14, Federal Housing Estate, Woji, Port Harcourt, Pastor Mathew shared a powerful message titled “The Force of Kingdom Stewardship.”

Drawing his text from Luke 1:25–26, the preacher emphasized that stewardship in God’s kingdom is a compelling force that opens doors to divine blessings, healing, and God’s presence.

He cited biblical examples such as Moses in Exodus 3:1–4, David in Psalm 89:20 and Hebrews 1:9, and the children of Israel in Exodus 2:23–25, to illustrate how faithful service to God consistently produced supernatural results in the lives of God’s people.

Pastor Mathew explained that kingdom stewardship grants believers unique access to the divine presence, referencing scriptures such as Psalm 89:20, Psalm 27:4, Acts 10:38, and Mark 16:20.

He stressed that those who serve God with a sincere heart not only enjoy His companionship but also walk in His power and direction.

Furthermore, he declared that service guarantees access to divine blessings and provisions, citing Exodus 23:25–26, Psalm 35:7, Job 22:21, Deuteronomy 28:1–14, and Matthew 6:33 as scriptural backing.

In highlighting the link between stewardship and divine healing, Pastor Mathew emphasized that upright living, constant intake of God’s word, and a lifestyle of service all contribute to a life of health and wholeness.

He encouraged believers to walk in covenant knowledge, yield to prophetic and priestly instructions, and embrace a life of love as reflected in Romans 12:9–10. These, he noted, are biblical foundations for living free from sickness and affliction.

He urged the congregation to serve God joyfully and heartily, not as a religious routine, but as a heartfelt expression of love and gratitude. Quoting scriptures such as Deuteronomy 28:47–48, Joel 1:12, 1 Corinthians 4:2, and Numbers 12, Pastor Mathew emphasized that faithful and joyful service is the kind that yields lasting results.

In a series of compelling quotes, the pastor described kingdom service as the “most privileged protocol in life.” He boldly declared that “if God does not beg you to serve Him, you will not need to beg Him to bless you,” referencing Genesis 12:1–2 and 13:2. He added that liberation from life’s valleys requires making service a top priority and that genuine servants of God will surely see His genuine blessings.

Reiterating that no Pharaoh can hold back a willing servant, Pastor Mathew encouraged believers to be covenant practitioners if they desire divine coverage against sickness and affliction.

He concluded by urging the faithful not just to have spiritual leaders, but to listen to and obey their instructions, as obedience is a platform for divine preservation. In his words, “Kindly affection prevents affliction,” underscoring the importance of walking in love and unity within the body of Christ.

The message, filled with deep spiritual insights, resonated with the congregation as Pastor Mathew emphasized once more that “faithful service is a guarantee of fruitful living.”
