Port Harcourt, Nigeria – The General Overseer of the Solemn Faith International Church, Pastor Mathew Eleojoh James , has emphasized the need for a sudden turn around in one’s life to stop wandering aimlessly.
The pastor made this revelation during today’s church service at the church’s headquarters located at Road 21 Plot 14 Federal Housing Estate, Woji, Port Harcourt.
According to Pastor Mathew, a sudden turn around is God’s divine intervention in the lives and affairs of men, often surprisingly.
He cited Psalm 126:1-3 and 2 Kings 7:3-20 to support his message, highlighting the surprise release of God’s help through mercy and not by merit or qualifications.
The pastor noted that a sudden turn around is necessary to confirm God’s presence and dwelling among His people, to demonstrate His faithfulness and mercifulness, and to showcase His mighty and terrible power.
He also emphasized that it boosts confidence and boldness in the living God, knocks out crying, weeping, and sorrow, and restores hope and revives faith.
Pastor Mathew explained that God’s ways are often unexpected, citing Isaiah 55:8-9, and that He often uses the most unlikely people to execute His plans.
He encouraged the congregation to seek a sudden turn around through divine visitation, prompt obedience to God’s word, and remaining in the field.
The service was marked by a solemn voice and massive, mind-blowing testimonies.
Pastor Mathew concluded by saying, “If you must stop wandering around, you need a turn around. His mercy cleans up our messes and qualifies us for miracles.”
