The General Overseer of Solemn Faith International Church, located at Road 21, Plot 14, Federal Housing Estate, Woji, Port Harcourt, Pastor Mathew Eleojoh James, has prophetically declared the year 2026 as the Year of “Divine Elevation.”
The declaration was made during the church’s Crossover Night service, held at the church auditorium between 31st December 2025 and 1st January 2026, as members gathered to thank God for the outgoing year and receive divine direction for the new one.
While ministering, Pastor Matthew took his scriptural text from Esther 3:6–11, drawing deep spiritual lessons from the plot of Haman against the Jews and the sovereign power of God to overturn evil decrees.
He assured the congregation that every negative agenda fashioned against their lives would be divinely reversed, and that God would elevate His people beyond the reach of their adversaries.
According to the man of God, 2026 shall be a year of supernatural elevation, where celebration, honor, and divine recognition will locate members in their various endeavors.
He emphasized that just as God positioned Esther for elevation at the right time, so shall His people be strategically lifted in their careers, families, businesses, and ministries.
Pastor Matthew further encouraged the congregation to drop every burden, worry, and fear, assuring them that God has promised to deliver His people from all forms of affliction, delay, and oppression.
He stressed that divine elevation comes not by human strength but by God’s intervention and favor.
In a prophetic warning, he declared that anyone who plots evil against the church or members of the congregation and refuses to repent in 2026 will face divine judgment, stating that such individuals would lose direction and clarity, as God Himself would rise in defense of His people.
Highlights of the Crossover Night included intense praise and worship sessions, heartfelt thanksgiving, and diverse testimonies from members who testified to the Lord’s faithfulness in the outgoing year.
The atmosphere was charged with joy and expectation as the congregation unanimously declared that 2026 shall be better, greater, and more fulfilling.
The service concluded with powerful prophetic prayers, sealing the declaration that 2026 is truly the Year of Divine Elevation, a year in which God will lift His people from obscurity to prominence and from trials to triumph.
