Opinion: ‘Ibrocracy’ Has Replaced Democracy In Kogi State By Grace Amodu

There is no doubt that the ongoing litigation against Engr Musa Wada by Abu Ibro has generated a lot of reactions among Political Analysts and PDP’s Faithfuls.

Recall, that Abu Ibro, the Son of Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Ibro who ruled the state for Nine has insisted that he should be declared winner of PDP’s Gubernatorial Primary that led to November 16 2019 election in the state.

In this particular write- up, a political analyst, Per Excellent, Grace Amodu reacts in what she titles, IBROCRACY HAS REPLACED DEMOCRACY IN KOGI STATE!

Let us read his opinion:

“Has deputy publicity secretary of Kogi PDP, he is expected to be ” SIDON LOOK” executive in Kogi PDP?

I am not surprise with the outburst of contestant Abu Ibro.

Absence of Democracy from day one led to planting of IBROCRACY in Kogi state.

This is a party when welcoming Ibro during rallies, the song is usually ” Baba oyoyo” by grown up adults!

You sent him a signal that kogites are still sipping political milk, by implication can not taste solid foods, not fit to rule as such democracy can not be practiced in Kogi state except IBROCRACY.
Very insulting to the entire state.

Kogites should wake up and struggle for the installation of true democracy.

Contestant Abu Ibro be told that installation of IBROCRACY is enough in Kogi.

One of the characteristics of IBROCRACY is that spirit of quietness is instilled in the followers, but surprisingly to contestant Abu Ibro, the least expected executive in PDP has taken courage to challenge his negativity, as he will like to behave like Goliath in the Bible!

Please people that are close to Contestant Abu Ibro should tell him that he can not fight the prayers of majority in Kogi state!

That deputy PRO is Goliath for PDP and Kogi state in general.

Even though we know that money is a terrible messenger and an excellent servant, remember it has expiring date of functioning!

Those close to Contestant Abu Ibro should let him know that God is so much involved in Kogi matter to the extend that he did not allow COVID19 to distract the state.

God knows that our existing problems were more than COVID19 as he decided on His own to give us spirit of concentration to enable PDP fight for its mandate.

Let’s those that are close to contestant Abu Ibro tell him that Almighty God created us to identify our purpose on earth, as long as you are not able to identify your purpose, you can never substitute someone purpose for yours!

Finally, those that are close to Contestant Abu Ibro should send Martin Luther King message to him.

” Not everybody can be famous, but every body can be great because greatness is determined by service”

The entire Kogi state and Kogi East is in dear need of service by doing great things that will touch lives of kogites, building of factories etc for jobless people.

Just ordinary toilet roll industry will be a great service to the state.

Contestant Abu Ibro needs to be reminded and at the same time cast his mind back from our past leaders before he can realise that he is fighting retrogresively.

For example Sir Ahmadu Bello of Sokoto fought for the North and Nigeria, he died without biological replacement, you like it or not he has engraved his name!

You like it or not, you must call ABU on daily basis!, who can take that name from him?
Same to Obafemi Awolowo, Azikiwe etc.

without biological replacement! By implication, the knew their purpose and responded to God’s purpose.

If God created you to be a business man, please face the business and touch the people directly or indirectly by doing great things!

To be famous and to be great are all good for humanity, but remember every body can be great not every body can be famous.

Why not allow God to determine your fame while you concentrate on greatness?

For those that are close to contestant Abu Ibro, tell him that the only thing that walk back from tomb with mourners and refuse to be buried is the character of a man.

For who ever dodges the responsibility of telling this young man the truth, definitely can not dodge the consequences.
Remain Blessed.”
