The chairman of Agada Development Association (A.D.A), Abuja Branch, Mr Usman Akowe has commended the National Body of the Association led by Engr. Hussaini Ajabi for their indefatigable effort in attracting development to the area.

Mr Usman Akowe gave the commendation during the Association Emergency Meeting held at Abuja while reacting to questions asked by OUR WORLD GIST ( www.ourworldgist.com) reporter.

He says, “from the third quarterly meeting held at Lokoja recently by the National Body, it is not an exaggeration to say that, Agada Development Association is making progress”.

” It gladdens everyone’s heart that the borehore donated to A.D.A, by Alhaji Hussaini Ajabi is making money for the Association “.

He further said, “Agada is blessed with responsibles sons and daughters who have carved a niche for themselves in which the community is now benefiting from them”.

Whiile reminding the National body of the Association on the need to give award to deserving sons and daughters of Agada during Annual General Meeting, he however rebuked some bad eggs in Agada community who attracted political violence to the area in the last election.

Mr Usman Akowe said, he grew up along with the Ex Chairman of the Association, Mr Francis Ojoh who has laid a very solid foundation for the current A.D.A leadership but through out their staying in Agada Village, before they left for greener pasture, they have never witnessed electoral violence in Agada non Ogbabede as a ward.

He went ahead to advise parents to caution their wards who are involved in this condemnable act.

Earlier, the Patron of the Association, Abuja branch Mr Ocholi Abuh, said, those Abocho and Anyigba boys who came to cause violence in Ogbabede ward remain cursed as the people of Ogbabede are known for peace.

He added that, every reasonable Igala is now ashamed to be associated with Kogi East because of high level of Ignorance on the part of Abocho and Anyigba youths who now see thuggery as a means for survival.

Also speaking, the National Secretary of the Association, Mr Michael Omakoji Sani said, “it is regrettable that Anyigba which supposed to be a role model town to Kogi East because of its strategic location is now the home of nonenities who have no value for human’s lives as they kill and destroy properties during and after election”.

A situation he said has given Igala kingdom bad image within and outside Nigeria.

He advised Abocho and Anyigba boys who are involved in this barbaric act to make life meaningful out side politics as he noted politics is a game of wisdom that is not supposed to be played by nonenities or thugs.

The emergency meeting called by the chairman of the Association Abuja Branch, Mr Usman Akowe intended to discuss matter affecting the Association and Agada’s community was well attended by the members as you can see in the photos below:
