Report emerging reveals that some students have been abducted from Government Science College (GSC) Kagara , Niger state, by gunmen suspected to be bandits.
As at the time of filing this report, ourworldgist gathers that the bandits stormed the school in the early hours of Wednesday, overpowering the security guards on duty.
Ourworldgist further learnt that staff and some of their family members were also kidnapped.
Meanwhile, according to our reporter, Rachael Yusuf who sent it in the report, the number of kidnapped students are yet to be ascertained.
She added that few students were able to escape and headcount is currently ongoing in the school to find how many have been abducted .
The school is said to have a population of 1,000 plus students.
