The stakeholders of the Kogi State University (KSU) Anyigba also known as Prince Abubakar University have demanded the refund of the whooping sum of Seventeen Million Naira ( N17,000,000 ), fraudulently withdrawn from the Alumni Account by Illegal Body that has super imposed itself on the Alumni since 2014.

The call came following the recent judgement by the court to stop the illegal Alumni from further parading itself as Alumni representative.

It was noted with great dismay that one Mallam Ibraheem Yahaya ( Illegal President ), and one Okeme Yusuf ( Illegal Secretary ), who are staff of Kogi State University, Anyigba and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Lokoja respectively have both connived and cloned Association’s Account at FCMB with account number: 3751889019 via a phone alert number given as 08036203876 carted away with a huge sum of money at various times.

The stakeholders lamented that, this fraudulent act was made possible and perfected by Mallam Ibraheem Yahaya, who is currently the Director of Finance at the Institution and Okeme Yusuf, who was one time a member of Obaje’s led Exco.

Part of the communique of the stakeholders statement reads: “This is to inform Ibraheem Yahaya and Okeme Yusuf, illegal Exco know that their time is off and that they are too small to hold the association to any further hostage”.

” A huge sum of money were at different occasions withdrawn from the cloned account without Congress “.

” Normally, approval of withdrawals and disbursements are given during congress meeting but it with great disappointment and regret, this illegal Exco has never held any meaningful congress as it has used its influence to stop any congress that should be held by the Alumni “.

” We know how the Body connived with some big names then at the Institution to impose itself on the Association however, we say enough of this corrupt practices and these individuals parading themselves as Alumni’s Exco must vomit what they have fraudulently withdrawn from the Association “.

” We therefore approach the Institution to stop any further transaction with the duo of Ibraheem Yahaya and Okeme Yusuf, who were parading themselves as Alumni President and Secretary respectively”.

” Ibraheem Yahaya and Okeme Yusuf shamelessly used our money to take us to court but failed at the end as justice has prevailed over lies and fraudulent practices by the duo who have labelled any member of the Alumni who tries to challenge their evil act”.

” We are keeping track of what is left and has left the Association’s account and we shall do anything possible within the ambit of law and otherwise to make sure “the money” is no longer tempered with and some illegally withdrawn should be refunded with interest “.

” We shall in a matter of few weeks from now convey a meeting of the Association to plan how to move ahead and see how the Association can be of benefit to its Ama mater and members”.

KSU Alumni, is an Association of students who have graduated from Kogi State University, Anyigba since its inception who put their resources together to see how they can assist the Institution and their members.
