The Presiding Pastor of the Winners Chapel, Anagada Abuja , has said the resurrection of Jesus Christ signified his victory over death.
Pastor Thomas Elijah, gave the revelation while delivery Easter Message at Living Faith Church Anagada Abuja, today being 9th April 2023.
Preaching on the topic: ” Unveiling The Power Of His Resurrection” Pastor Thomas, said, “resurrection which is the greatest event in christiandom is not just for the period of merry making but a time for sober reflection as Christ who was saint laid down his life for the salvation of mankind”.
Making Bible references to the books of Luke 24:2, Philippians 5: 10 and Isaiah 53: 5, Pastor Thomas also said, the resurrection of Jesus Christ took away fithyniess to cloth man kind with garment of resurrection.
He added that the passing away of Jesus to resurrection took away shame to bring glory; captivity to bring liberty; sickness to bring health; poverty to bring prosperity and above all death to bring life.
He congratulated Christians world wide for accepting Christ as their saviour explaining that those who are born again with Christ are of kingdom heritage who enjoy God’s blessings unhindered.
Highlights of the service were special holy communion by the congregation in remembrance of his body, special numbers by choir and children unit of the Church.
