The gubernatorial Candidate of social Democratic Party ( SDP ), for Kogi November 11th election, Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka has assured the people of the state that he will transform the state and make it an investment hub if elected.
Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, popularly known as ” MURI ” disclosed this on Thursday morning being 8th June 2023 in a telephone conversation with OurWorldGist
He said, ” I’m aware how backward and shattered the state is despite the natural and human resources available in the state”.
He added, ” This I know is tied to poor leadership and lack of foresight “.
He explained further, ” there are 27 mineral resources deposited in Kogi State in commercial quantities that 2% of it have not been fully harnessed or utilised for the good of the people”.
” If my government win in November by the grace of God, we shall liaise with the Federal government and private sector to make sure all the natural resources deposited in Kogi state in commercial quantities shall be properly explored not just to boost the revenue base of the state but also create jobs, and give a new phase of life to the people of Kogi State”.
” It shall be a dawn of a new era for the people of Kogi state, as we shall give hope to the hopeless and also reinstate those unlawfully sacked from civil service job in the state”.
He concluded, ” No amount of intimidation, media war and outright blasphemy will make me and my team to jittery on what the people of the state have already decided as that will only encourage me and my team to greater height”.
Recall, Muri, who is the leading gubernatorial candidate and the most populous of all the contestants for Kogi gubernatorial election was openly attacked by Governor Yahaya Bello’s THUGS some days ago while he was on a visit to royal Fathers in the state on a thank you tour and also receive royal blessings.
