Evangelist Wisdom Philip of CEFM Church Apapa, Lagos, has delivered an insightful message on “the hand od God”
Addressing the congregation at the Solemn Faith International Church Road 21, Plot 14 F.H. Estate Woji, Port Harcourt, Evangelist Philip highlighted key biblical figures like Elijah and Ezekiel, emphasizing their encounters with challenges before experiencing the transformative touch of God’s hand.
Evangelist Wisdom Philip, who was the Guest speaker at the church said: “Before God’s hands came upon Elijah, he faced issues with Jezebel (1 Kings 14:46). Similarly, Ezekiel had to overcome the dry valley before the hand of God touched him (Eze 3:7)”.
Evangelist Philip emphasized the correlation between the hand of God and divine rewards, citing Revelation 22:12.
He also drew attention to Elisha’s experience, as narrated in 2 Kings 3:10-15, underscoring the significance of being obedient to God’s commands.
The speaker outlined ways believers can position themselves to receive the hand of God, cautioning against disobedience, sin, and discouraging others’ faith (Acts 13:6-11).
Among the notable quotes from Evangelist Wisdom Philip were:
“Every matter in someone’s life has someone behind it.”
“The hand of God will fight our battles” (1 Sam. 5:11).
“God is our helper; before His hands come upon us, we must navigate through life’s challenges.”
Highlighting the purpose of God’s hands, Evangelist Philip said, “Most times, for us to enjoy the good things of God, the hand of God is at work” (Ecc. 2:24). He also stressed the importance of not falling out of God’s hands for elevation (Heb. 10:31).
The service featured special numbers, prayers, and moments of healing, making it a spiritually enriching experience for the congregation.
The impactful message on “The Hand of God” left attendees inspired and reflective as they continue their spiritual journey.
