 Mallam Kerimu Paul, Chairman of Udama Igala Worldwide, has been honoured with an award recognizing him as an illustrious son of the Igala Kingdom.
The award ceremony took place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in Abuja and was presented by Elder James Alabi Okai, the Overall Chief of Igala in Abuja, on behalf of the Igala Traditional Chiefs Forum, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The event coincided with the launch of the forum’s maiden almanac and was marked by insightful lectures delivered by prominent Igala figures, including Dr. James Abalaka and technocrat Rekiyah Momoh Abaji, who emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration within the Igala community.
The ceremony also celebrated other distinguished individuals, including Senator Ireti Heebah Kinggibe, Senator representing FCT, Abuja and Hajiya Baiwa, for their contributions to society and their dedication to the development of the Igala people.
Prominent sons and daughters of the Igala Kingdom were present to witness the occasion, which underscored the community’s commitment to honouring and encouraging excellence among its members.
