In a press release written by Barrister Salifu Oguche Usman, Esq (LL.M), PP. Abbluent Partners, Abuja being a response to the ongoing scandal surrounding the death of Hajiya Arikgold, Dr. Oma Ameh-Sanusi has categorically refuted all allegations linking her to the tragic incident.
Since February 20, 2025, rumors accusing Dr. Oma and Alhaji Jejeola Teslim of orchestrating Hajiya Arikgold’s death have spread widely across social media, gaining traction on multiple blogging platforms.
The accusations claim that Alhaji Jejeola and Dr. Oma were involved in the deceased’s demise to inherit her property.
It was alleged that Hajiya Arikgold discovered they had a child together, conducted a DNA test, and subsequently uncovered the truth.
More also, rumours suggested that Dr. Oma, who was reportedly a close friend of the deceased, arranged for the Department of State Services (DSS) to torture her during pregnancy, leading to complications and ultimately her death.
The allegations also claimed that Dr. Oma moved into the deceased’s house shortly after her passing and has since prevented her family from seeing their grandchildren.
Additionally, it was alleged that Dr. Oma has been married multiple times and that Alhaji Jejeola is her fourth husband.
Dr. Oma Ameh-Sanusi has firmly rejected these allegations, stating that she never met or interacted with Hajiya Arikgold.
She clarified that she has not given birth in recent years and has always lived in her own residence, making it impossible for her to have moved into any property belonging to the deceased.
Furthermore, she refuted claims of ever having any legal disputes or conflicts with Hajiya Arikgold or her family.
Addressing the allegations about her marital status, Dr. Oma dismissed the rumours that she had been married three times, emphasizing that such claims were baseless.
She also clarified that she is not of Ebira descent, countering false narratives about her background.
In addition, she stressed that she has no knowledge of where Hajiya Arikgold lived and categorically denied ever relocating to her residence after her passing.
Dr. Oma Ameh-Sanusi is a well-respected entrepreneur and philanthropist, renowned as the CEO and Founder of the Oma Life Rescue Foundation.
The foundation has played a pivotal role in humanitarian efforts for over two decades.
She is also the CEO of Omalife and Associates Nig Ltd, a company specializing in food importation and exportation, among other ventures.
With over 20 years of business success and financial stability, Dr. Oma asserted that any claim suggesting she would kill someone for financial gain is both false and illogical.
In response to the defamatory accusations, her legal team has assured the public that they are actively pursuing legal actions against those responsible for spreading the falsehoods.
They are working closely with the authorities to ensure justice prevails and that those behind the malicious claims are held accountable.
Dr. Oma expressed her gratitude to her family, friends, business associates, donors, and partners of the Oma Life Rescue Foundation for their unwavering support during this difficult time.
She also urged the public to disregard any misleading social media narratives.
Notably, she clarified that all her social media posts before Hajiya Arikgold’s passing were made well before the tragic event, except for a birthday post on February 10, 2025.
