The General Overseer of Solemn Faith International Church, Pastor Mathew Eleojoh James , has declared that divine elevation destroys limitation, satanic operation, and humiliation.
He made this profound statement during the church’s 8th-year anniversary celebration, held at its headquarters located at Road 21, Federal Housing Estate, Woji, Port Harcourt.
The anniversary service, which drew worshippers and guests from Kogi, Lagos, and various parts of the country, was marked by intense worship, thanksgiving, and a powerful message titled “Divine Elevation Destroys Limitation, Satanic Operation & Humiliation.”
Citing scriptures from Numbers 11:23–30 and Psalms 75:6–7, Pastor Mathew explained that divine elevation is a supernatural lifting orchestrated by God to raise His children to positions of influence, power, and fulfillment. He emphasized that when God elevates a person, every form of limitation, humiliation, and satanic manipulation is broken.
Speaking on the reasons for divine elevation, Pastor Mathew revealed that God lifts people to raise generational voices, empower impact makers, and establish His representatives on earth.
He noted that elevation positions believers to dominate and exercise divine authority as ordained in Exodus 7:1 and Genesis 1:26.
Describing what elevation truly means, he said it is not merely a promotion or human recognition, but a supernatural act initiated by God to honor and empower His chosen vessels. “Elevation is the supernatural lifting orchestrated by God. When God lifts a man, no power on earth can bring him down,” he stated.
Pastor Mathew also identified the keys that provoke divine elevation, stressing that God’s mercy and the anointing of the Holy Ghost are crucial.
He referenced Numbers 11:26–29, Acts 2:1–4, and Zechariah 4:5–7, underscoring the importance of divine empowerment in fulfilling destiny.
However, he warned against the enemies of divine elevation, including pride, envy, hatred, and ungratefulness. According to him, self-exaltation often leads to humiliation, while envy is “a levy that destroys destiny.”
He urged believers to remain humble, thankful, and reliant on God’s grace.
Quoting several spiritual insights, Pastor Mathew said, “It takes elevation to escape limitation and humiliation.
Man enjoyed elevation right from creation (Genesis 1:28). You don’t get sunk when you are on God’s lift.” He added that divine elevation annihilates satanic operations and destroys the works of oppressors.
The service, which also featured a special rendition by the church choir “Solemn Voice,” was filled with joy and thanksgiving as members celebrated God’s faithfulness over the years.
In his closing remark, Pastor Mathew reminded the congregation that elevation comes only through thanksgiving and by God’s mercy. “When you learn to thank God for where you are, He will take you to where you ought to be,” he concluded.
