The General Overseer of Solemn Faith International Church, Pastor Mathew Eleojoh, has emphasized that standing out in life and destiny requires a strong kingdom mindset.
He made this statement during the church’s Sunday service at Road 21, Plot 14, Federal Housing Estate, Woji, Port Harcourt, while delivering a sermon titled “Sustaining the Blessing.”
Speaking from Galatians 3:13–14 and Jeremiah 52:31–34, Pastor Mathew explained that receiving God’s blessing is only the beginning; sustaining it is what guarantees lasting success and relevance. He noted that many people encounter divine blessings but fail to maintain them due to a lack of understanding of kingdom principles.
According to him, sustaining God’s blessing is essential for finishing well in life, just as Abraham’s obedience in Genesis 12:1–4 positioned him for generational blessings reaffirmed in Galatians 3:13–14. He added that consistent progress and excellence are products of sustained blessings, referencing Jeremiah 52:34, Proverbs 4:18, and Psalm 1:3 to show that the path of the righteous is designed for continual increase.
Pastor Mathew further stated that sustaining the blessing upholds the integrity and faithfulness of God, reminding the congregation that it is God who gives the power to get wealth, as recorded in Deuteronomy 8:18. He explained that a life aligned with God’s principles becomes profitable to both the individual and society, drawing insights from Isaiah 48:17, Philippians 1:11, and Ecclesiastes 5:9. He also stressed that sustained blessings secure family posterity, ensuring that generations after are established, as seen in Proverbs 13:22 and 1 Samuel 2:29–32.
In addressing how believers can sustain God’s blessing, the cleric highlighted selfless and tireless commitment to kingdom projects. Citing Matthew 6:33 and the prophetic instructions in Haggai 1 and 2, he explained that prioritizing God’s work attracts divine attention and long-term rewards.
He illustrated this principle with biblical examples such as David, whose passion for God’s house brought enduring promises to his lineage; Nehemiah, whose burden for God’s city secured divine favor; and Solomon, whose dedication to building God’s temple ushered him into unprecedented wisdom and prosperity.
Summarizing his message, Pastor Mathew noted that where God’s blessing is sustained, success becomes inevitable.
He emphasized that daily progress is directly connected to God’s blessing, as stated in Deuteronomy 8:18, and concluded that only kingdom-minded people truly stand out among the crowd.
The service was marked by what congregants described as a strong prophetic atmosphere, tagged “Solemn Voice,” alongside massive and mind-blowing testimonies that further reinforced the message of sustained divine blessing.
