Engr Wada Musa, the Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the forthcoming Kogi gubernatorial election scheduled for November 16, has rekindled Kogites hope while making speech at his official campaign flag up held at Suitorial Hotel, Lokoja.
According to Engr Wada Musa, “those who were unlawfully sacked by the current Government from Kogi State workforce without cogent reason would be immediately reinstated irrespective of their tribe or ideology.
He said, he is aware that the Economy of the state is on a live support due to mismanagement and bad leadership in the last three to four years but notwithstanding, effort would be made when emerged as Governor to revive the Economy and chart a new course for the State.
He added that while championing economic prosperity for the good of the state, attention would be given to; Infrastructure, Job generation, Education, health, Agriculture, ICT, commerce and Industry, as well as security.
He lamented that with abundance natural resources, Kogi State has no reason to be poor neither depend on the Federal Government allocation.
In his words, he said ” we are going to hit the ground running as we have no time to waste; Our roadmap and achievements would be evident for everyone to justify whether we deserve to be in power or not after 100 days in office”
Engr Wada Musa who was welcomed along side his running mate, Sam Aro, were received by mammoth crowd and party faithfuls at jamata toll gate amid cheers and admiration.
Engr Wada Musa who later proceeded to nodal town in Igala land, Anyigba was also welcomed by uncontrollable crowd who were struggling to have a glimpse of him.
