Recall that, Scottish midfielder McTominay has been out of action since Boxing Day with knee ligament issues but is finally set to make his return.
From performance rating, the 23-year-old was one of United’s best performers prior to picking up the injury and has been sorely missed in midfield, especially with Paul Pogba’s continued absence.
McTominay and Fred showed signs of a flourishing midfield partnership and the pair will be key for the remainder of the season as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side target a top four finish.
