7,000 Npower (NTeach) Beneficiaries serving in Kano State yesterday get automatic employment by the state government.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje made this announcement on Monday 25th February, 2020 following peaceful protest by the volunteers over what they described as “perpetual delay of their monthly stipends.”
Responding on behalf of the Beneficiaries, Mallam Bashiru Farouq thanked Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for being sensitive to their need and plight most especially at this critical time when there is confusion in Npower as whether the much talked about ” Enhancement Scheme” ( Transition Stage To Permanency ) would come to the table very soon or not.
Recall, that ourworldgist and other media outfits have recently bombarded the air space and airwaves how Npower Beneficiaries have not been paid their January 2020 stipend until last Sunday 24th February 2020 that they were paid perhaps amid tension in the air that volunteers have concluded arrangement to embark on Nationwide strike.
