Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has lifted the lockdown placed on Kabba local government Area.
Governor Yahaya Bello made the announcement to lift the lockdown at a press briefing on Friday 5th June 2020.
He said that the lockdown was occasioned by the need to be responsive to the alleged case of a reported case of covid19.
He also added that following the test conducted which came out negative and the contact tracing done which also tested negative there is need to relax the lockdown.
He futher said that while Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) continues with contact tracing and sample tests, normalcy is restored to ameliorate the plight of the people.
