Ahead of Edo & Ondo Gubernatorial Elections come September 2020, Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC ) has on Thursday being 6th August 2020 announced its readiness to transmit election result live through a web portal.

This sudden development is generating a lot of reactions among Nigerians.

It is against this background that our ourworldgist writer, Sani Michael Omakoji reacts in what he titles: ” INEC Moves To Shock PDP & Produce Portal Governors In Edo & Ondo States ”

Let us read his apt and explicit reaction.

” I considered INEC readiness to transmit election result via live portal in Edo and Ondo States as an advanced plot to take Peoples’ Democratic Party ( PDP ) unaware in Ondo and Edo States as it did in Kogi, Osun, Kano, Ekiti and Imo States.

Recall, that after INEC expended million of Naira towards the functioning and maintenance of its website, the same INEC shamelessly testified in court against Atiku Abubakar of PDP that it has no official website.

Yes, the INEC’s website has to disappear over night in order to be able to seal the massive rigging during the 2019 general election.

Let us emphasis here that due to the INEC collaboration with APC, Judiciary and security agents since 2015, many political pundits have described it as a unit or an extension of APC.

This simply implies that APC is INEC, and INEC is APC ( Siamese twins ).

Honestly, after INEC’s role in Kogi’s recent election, I was perplexed to watch on Channel Television last night that INEC is set to Introduce Election Result Viewing Portal.

According to the report, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has introduced a dedicated portal where election results from polling units can be viewed in real-time.

This development was disclosed by Festus Okoye, INEC spokesperson, in a statement on Thursday being 6th August at its office headquarters, Abuja.

The statement added that, the portal is a new step to further strengthen INEC’s election management process and enhance the transparency of the system.

That the use of the portal will commence with the delection in Nasarawa Central Constituency election after which it will also be deployed in Edo and Ondo governorship polls.

This news extract sounds interesting and heart warming right?

No, this can only be interesting to those gullible Nigerians whose APC is going nuclear to ensure forceful winning at the detriment of the peoples’ wish.

For the record sake, in the Kogi last gubernatorial election, INEC made all the juicy promises how she was ready to conduct free and fair election with mobilised heavy security presence ironically, the same INEC aided thugs, compromised security agents and some pilot officers to use helicopters to cause mayhem, political violence, and social engineering which provided a conducive atmosphere for massive rigging in favour of APC.

Of course, it remains an unprecedented, and biggest electoral fraud ever been staged in the history of the world prior to CNN report.

Dishearteningly, INEC even hired some of the ‘legal Manafiki Lawyers’ to defend and thus far, Lower court and Appealed Court have shamelessly endorsed that organized political crime against the good people of Kogi State.

From history not far from us, this and many more INEC had previously executed in Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Kano and Imo States.

In a bid to fight this crude way of conducting elections that has aided massive rigging at the dictate of INEC, concerned Nigerians have cried out for the adoption of “Electronic Form Of Voting” where with the aid of BVN, National ID and Voter’s Card,… Nigerians will be able to vote without rigging.

To be specific, a young and vibrant Nigerian, Enejoh Sani was at a time on AIT giving reasons why Electronic Voting should be adopted but unfortunately this public outcry has severally been turned down by the Lawmakers, Presidency, INEC and even the compromised Judiciary.

Amid of all these ugly happenings, it will be a slap on PDP if its relaxes and believes that INEC claimed of readiness towards Ondo and Edo elections is anything to rely on.

While PDP is advised not to take APC’s plot for granted, it should also have in mind that in this country call Nigeria, ‘Judiciary has helped to produce supreme court Governor in Imo, INEC has also helped to produce Helicopter/Thugs Governor in Kogi and ‘Violence Governor’ in Kano, Ekiti and Osun States in the recent past…

Now, the BIG question is, should PDP wait for INEC to give Nigerians yet again ‘Portal Governors’ in Edo & Ondo States come September?

Well, whether PDP will device a means to resist this looming organized crime or not, only time shall tell.
