In an effort to reduce the stress being faced by Nigerians in the process of acquiring National identity Number NIN especially for the aged and those in rural communities in North Central states, a company called Nigeria Agricultural Payment initiative NAPI Technology has been engaged to assist in the registration process.
In an interview with ‘OURWORLDGIST’ the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Afred Okeme, said, the exercise which is expected to be carried out in North Central states to include Nasarawa, Plateau, Kogi, Niger and Kwara is scheduled to commence from first week of March 2021.
He added that Palaces of traditional rulers of every local Government area and development areas would serve as Enrollment and registration centres during the exercise.
Mr Okeme also said in confident that NAPI technology has concluded all arrangements to commence enrollment of Nigerians and legal residents who are yet to be enrolled on the National identity Number NIN registration exercise.
He emphasised that enrollees are therefore advised to take advantage of this opportunity as Enrollment officers approved for this national exercise bring this service to their door steps.
He further stressed that enrollees are informed in advance that this enrollment is free and does not attract any charge.
