The World Health Organization ( WHO ) has declared Algeria as second free Nation of Malaria in Africa.
OurWorldGist gathered from WHO ‘s website that Algeria is declared of Malaria Free Nation after a thorough investigation by the body.
The body added that since 1973, when Mauritius, achieved this height, no African Nation has attained this fit.
Similarly, WHO also declared Argentina in South America region as second Malaria free Nation after Paraguay.
Meanwhile, the president of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has congratulated the health sector of the country for helping him to achieve this fit stressing that it wasn’t one man show rather a collective effort.
He however, charged other African Nations to under studies Algeria and Mauritius in order to get ride of Malaria in Africa.
