The Minister of ‘Humanitarian Affairs’, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has landed herself in trouble over repeated failed promises made to Npower beneficiaries.

Briefing the press men at Abuja during the week, the president of the Exited Npower, Mallam Gobir said, ” the cup of the Minister is now over full as she has made several promises to the exited Npower beneficiaries without fulfilling one.

He said “Disengaged Npower Beneficiaries are set to embark on another Nationwide Protest over Sadiya’s failure to fulfil her numerous promises and continuous negligence of 500,000 Exited Beneficiaries”.

He added that beneficiaries had collectively agreed that Minister Sadiya Farouk, is given 15days ultimatum to address their issues on before November 9th, 2021 or they occupy her office by November 10th, 2021″.

Part of the statement reads” Her office would be massively occupied until she fulfills her numerous promises”.

“Before we arrived at this decision, we had endured many deceptions from this woman and we shall resist any arsenal she plans to use against us to thwart this mega protect”.

” Now that we know the trick of Madam Minister, we shall treat her matter as she presents it to us and the general public “.

Recall that the minister had published in all the National Newspapers that she paid all the affected beneficiaries their five months backlog of stipends which the President of Npower has now regarded as “false and misleading report” stressing that the Minister is in the business of using media against the Npower beneficiaries.

The president lamented that the minister had also failed to fulfill her earlier promise that her ministry would commence training of the exited npower beneficiaries in October in furtherance to the implementation of the Nexit loan programme”.

He added, “till date, no schedule has been released by the ministry in preparation for the said training as a prerequisite for disbursing the Nexit loan to the beneficiaries”.

Gobir said, “Sadiya, has played us enough, we are tired of her tricks and deceits.

We are mobilising for another nationwide protest, we’ll occupy her office comes November 10th, until exit packaged is implemented.
