The new national coordinator of Npower, Mallam Gobir has replied Minister Sadiya Faruq Umar that she should not swallow her words this time around.
In a chat with some group of Bloggers, Mallam Gobir said, his attention has been drawn to the statement credited to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs… mentioning the categories of exited batches A and B that are qualified for Exit Package to include those who had successfully uploaded their complete data.
Gobir while appreciating the update on behalf of the beneficiaries said, “the minister should speed up the process as the exited Npower have waited since June 2021 without this exit Package”
Gobir further stressed that this is not the first time the Minister is raising the hope of the exited beneficiaries in that direction and therefore urged her to keep to her words and disburse the much talked about exit Package.
He said “a situation whereby such promises and updates end on social media would not be accepted under his leadership as the beneficiaries will not also relent their agitation for exit Package or permanent job until their demands are meant”.
He regretted the delay of the exit Package when social investments like Survival Fund Survival Fund & COVID-19 Household Loan that are bigger in nature have come into full implementation even though those programmes were recently introduced when the noise of the exit Package was already all over the air.
Gobir further urged the beneficiaries to remain resolute until their demand, which is robust exit Package or permanent job is meant.
