The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has finally officially declared former Governor of Central Bank and the candidate of APGA, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo as the Governor Elect of Anambra State.
Professor Florence Obi, Returning Officer of the election, made the declaration at exactly on Wednesday Morning being 10th November, 2021 at 1;50am made the declaration.
Soludo won with 112,229 votes beating his closet rival, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party, who polled 53,807 votes, while, Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress got 43,285 votes and Ifeanyi Ubah of the Young Progressive Party polled 21,261 votes to take fourth position.
Recall that INEC has earlier declared #AnambaraElection Inconclusive as a result of their inability to conduct election in Ihiala local government area of the state.
Meanwhile, professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is yet to react to the victory.
