Former Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member that of House of Representative representing Idah federal constituency ( 2011-2015), distinguished Honourable Ismaila Ina Hussein a.k.a ” Soullover”, has felicitated with Igala kingdom on the coronation and presentation of staff of office, to the new Ata of Igala, His Royal Majesty ( HRM ), Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello, of Kogi State.
Honourable Ismaila Ina Hussein made his felicitation known yesterday being 3rd March 2022 while at Ata’s palace in the ancient city of Idah to identify and rejoice with the new Ata on his coronation and presentation of staff of office as the new Ata of Igala kingdom and chairman of traditional ruling council of Kogi State.
Honourable Ismaila Ina Hussein however enjoined the subjects of the new Ata to cooperate with him stressing that good things await them as the new Ata has the needed qualities to lead them right.
After traditional induction in the past few weeks, HRM Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche, is being coronated along side with the staff of office today being 4th March 2022 by Governor Yahaya Bello.
The coronation of the new Ata of Igala kingdom became necessary following the deposed of the erstwhile Ata, Mr Michael Ameh Oboni II who was reported to be on the hunting expedition.
