SMEDAN In Collaboration With ASBC Release Portal For The Announced Grant

Recently, OurWorldGist broke the news of the announcement of a new, bumper $100,000 – $1,00,000 grant by SMEDAN for entrepreneurs in Nigeria and the rest of Africa.

As more details are emerging, we now have information on how our followers can take advantage of this opportunity to grow their businesses by applying for this SMEDAN grant.

For the benefit of MSMEs that have yet to apply, the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has re-announced a $100,000 grant opportunity for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria and Africa in general.

The project was developed by the United States with the goal of increasing small company growth in Nigeria and other African countries.

The project aims to provide MSMEs with subsidies and technical help worth up to $100,000.

Agriculture and food security, education, healthcare, sanitation, and hygiene, as well as climate change and gender justice, will all hoped to be addressed through this grant.

More information about the African Small Business Catalyst (ASBC) Program revealed that the African Small Business Catalyst (ASBC) was some time past developed by the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) to support early-stage small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Sub-Saharan Africa.

ASBC is a small business accelerator that provides loans ranging from $100,000 to $1 million, as well as technical assistance (TA) and grants of up to $100,000 to SMEs.

ASBC focuses on SMEs in Sub-Saharan African Nations that engages in agriculture, food security, healthcare, and education, as well as water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), with a special focus on SMEs that strive to solve the climate catastrophe and gender equity issues.

How to Apply for SMEDAN Grant
The African Small Business Catalyst (ASBC) Program has a simple yet technical application process.

Go to https://usadf.gov/program-application-form
Complete the Business Profile Section,
Fill out other parts of the form by responding to the questionnaire on the form.
Click ‘Submit’
Check your e-mail for acknowledgement and always check your mail for follow up.
