Kogi Firm Maker and lover of the masses,  Honourable Thompson Makolo Jnr has appreciated his supporters for their unalloyed support and solidarity after he narrowly lost out of the bid to clinch Dekina/ Biraidu state house of Assembly ticket.

In a sixteen paragraphs write- up, Honourable Tom Makolo Jnr writes thus:
” My Text of Gratitude.

Distinguished Ladies and gentlemen, Believers, Friends, Family, Associates, Supporters, Campaign Team,Party Leaders, Stakeholders and Party Members.

I wish to Sincerely and Humbly leave this note of Gratitude to you for your Role and Contribution to my burden of political participation for the 2023 General Election that drove us from Conception to the Primary Elections which we lost Narrowly by 2 Votes Margin.

The Project and aspirations was never personal but collective hence, our Slogan: #thepeoplespower #Makolo2023, which was the Fuel upon which we Drove our CHARACTER FOR THE CONTEST, OUR VISION, IDEAS AND VALUES.

We went Round The 8 wards for our Declaration; we did same before the Divisional Exco; the 3 Men Delegates per ward; visited All Critical Stakeholders in the party and outside to share and sell our Agenda.

The Greater mind saw us as the light for the Land and others saw us otherwise.

One thing that will remain undeniable is the Passion with which we sold our aspiration; the courage with which we drove through the rough road and came to the Primary Elections.

All of the Above were possible through your prayers; goodwill; Donation and Support.

Together and with you, we sold an idea that was never on the field in my Constituency.

God bless you for your believe and hard Investment.

I must tell you of the many Challenges that birth bad leadership and Governance is both fault of the two divides; those seeking to lead and those to be Led.

Its all wrong stories told from both end and the Victim is the Land and People and the Society is innocent of her many pains.

This was to say, we are part of you and we can add value; we will continue to be a Part of the process and shall someday be on the seat to show what we have got.

May Posterity be forever kind to you and your family.

My Best Wishes to the Winner, Mr Andrew Egbunu of Dekina Ward and the Entire PDP Family in my Constituency.

This Series of Gratitude shall continue till I am able to thank you enough and the facts we saw on the Field.

Thank you, thank you, thank you… ”

Recall that Honourable Tom Makolo Jnr has hitherto picked nomination form under the platform of Peoples’ Democratic Party ( PDP ) to run for state house of Assembly slot for Biraidu / Dekina constituency.
