J. S Okutepa, 11 Years Old As Senior Advocate Of Nigerian, July 2022. A book, titled “Emerging Issues In Nigerian Law” Launched In His Honour.

A book, titled” Emerging Issues In Nigerian Law”, has been presented to the public to honour J.S Okutepa’s eleventh years as a Senior Advocate of Nigerian ( SAN ) .

The book co- authored by D.O Okanyi, Esq., a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Criminal Litigation, Nigerian Law School, Augustine Nnamani Campus, Enugu and Idachaba Martins Ajogu, Esq., a Senior Lecturer Faculty of Law, Kogi State University, Anyigba was presented to the public on 7th July 2022 at Musa Shehu Yar’dua Centre Abuja.

Reviewing the book, Professor F. C Nwoke of the University of Jos described it as “a massive addition to legal practice”.

Also speaking at the launching ceremony, the chairman of the occasion, Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of Nigerian Governors Forum, Dr John Kayode Fayemi said, he felted alighted and honoured to chair the occasion describing  J.S Okutepa, as legal icon whose contributions to Legal practice in Nigeria over the years has not only added value but has also planted enduring legacies that will stand a test of time.

Reading the citation, one of the offsprings of J.S Okutepa, who is also a barrister at Law, Ocholi Ojonimi Okutepa, described his Dad as a man whose story revolves around from grass to grace ( Click Here To Read J.S Okutepa’s Full Citation ).

Speaking to OurWorldGist, shortly after the launching ceremony, J.S Okutepa, said,” I am privileged to be honoured by two legal icons who authored the book, as I returned all glory to God Almighty, I promised to justify this honour bestowed upon me”.

There were good will message from special guests of honour including the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward David Onoja amongst others.
