Barrister Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan , Peoples’ Democratic Party’s ( PDP ) Candidate, for Kogi Central senatorial election conducted on 25th February 2023, has said, strip off Governor Yahaya Bello of power and the use of thuggery in an election, he is no match to her.

Barrister Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan disclosed this in a live video broadcast made on her official Facebook page on Friday night being 11th Match 2023.

OurWorldGist gathered from Natasha how Yahaya Bello used his office as a sitting Governor with the aid of thugs well armed in Police and Military uniforms to allocate votes for All Progressive Congress’s ( APC ), Candidate, Abubakar Ohere, which Independent National Electoral Commission fraudlently declared winner of the senatorial election.

She explained that she clearly won with a big merging in four Local Government Areas out of five LGAs but the results from Okene where there was no election was manipulated to favour APC’s candidate.

She said, to the best of her knowledge, INEC could not conduct election in about 70% polling units in Okene but regretablly the same INEC went ahead to upload some cooked results in those polling units on IReV.

She added that despite this manipulation and conspiracy against her, the votes from Ajaokuta LGA were substantial to put her in a driving seat but Governor Yahaya Bello in connivance with some INEC’s staff under the supervision of some Police Men rigged the election in favour of APC as her votes were reduced.

Natasha clarified that when she noticed irregularities in Okene’s election, she wrote a petition to INEC’s EO in charge of Okene but to her greatest surprise, the EO refused to attend to her petition.

Similarly, she said, SPO in Ajaokuta was almost leashed by APC’s Thugs because he testified that election were conducted in twelve polling units where APC hide original results to claim that there was no election simply because she won convincingly from those polling units.

She further cited three to four instances how APC’s rigged election.

Follow up to her live video broadcast, she wrote:
“Chairman of Adavi LGA in Kogi State, Joseph Omuya Salami caught destroying ballot papers with PDP votes”
” … As we get INEC to review the Kogi Central elections and declare Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan the winner, I’ll share with you just one of the many altered polling units result .

IN PU 009 Ganaja Ajaokuta, APC scored 105 while PDP (Natasha) scored 751.

Unfortunately, INEC recorded 205 for APC and 51 for PDP in the Form EC 8B which is the ward collation summary document.

I reject the declaration of APC as winners of the Kogi Central Senatorial election ”

In another related development, she also added below: ” Another EVIDENCE of how INEC Nigeria rigged PDP’s Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan’s election under Governor Yahaya Bello’s gunpoint duress.

IN PU 046 Ganaja Ajaokuta, APC scored 51 while PDP (Natasha) scored 112 (originally 115 but 3 were argued invalid.

Unfortunately, INEC recorded 640 for APC and 16 for PDP in Form EC 8B which is the ward collation summary document. ”

” 3rd and last of 400+ evidences we have against INEC rigging Kogi Central’s senatorial election under Gov. Yahaya Bello’s gunpoint duress.

PU 049 Ganaja Ajaokuta, APC scored 46 while PDP (Natasha) scored 210.

Unfortunately, INEC recorded 290 for APC and only 10 for PDP in Form EC 8B which is the ward collation summary document.

Again, I reject the declaration of APC as winners of the Kogi Central Senatorial election !!! ”

She revealed that plan to rig Kogi Central senatorial election started three days before election as Governor Yahaya Bello cut off five major roads in Kogi Central in order to deprive INEC of bringing electoral materials to those areas as he felt APC’s candidate has no electoral value in those towns and villages sorounding Ihima,

She vowed that Yahaya Bello should either fix the road he destroyed or face litigation after he leaves office saying the excuse by Governor Yahaya Bello on national Television that those roads were cut off to curb insecurity was a cheap and dull excuse.

She lamented that since the so-called kangaroo declaration of one Abubakar Ohere of APC as winner, the mood of Kogi Central has been “ghost like” stressing that the people feel cheated because she should have been declared real winner having won overwhelmingly before the results were manipulated in favour of APC.

Natasha called out Professor Rotimi Ajayi of Federal University, Lokoja who served as INEC’s retuning officer for Kogi Central to speak out why he declare such a forged result saying, it was a complete blue murder on the good people of Kogi Central threating that failure to correct the wrong, Professor Rotimi Ajayi, would face the consequent of his action at the law court.

While encouraging her constituents to come out and vote for PDP’s candidates in the forthcoming State House of Assembly election, she promised that she will never let her people down adding that the stolen mandate would be reclaimed sooner than later at the tribunal.
