It is a statement of fact to state that, media and some idle Nigerians have abandoned the public revelation of the Department of State Services ( DSS ) that says, “some political Elites are plotting for Interim Government” now dwelling on a purported audio cloned to smear the integrity of Mr Peter Obi and that of Bishop David Oyedepo.
While some are kicking against the cloned audio others are calling for the arrest of Mr Peter Obi and Bishop David Oyedepo.
It is against this background, Sani Michael Omakoji , ( SMO ), writes on what he titles as “Peter Obi & Bishop Oyedepo Purported Leaked Audio Is A Distraction To DSS’s Alleged Interim Government”.

” It has almost become a norm that we pay more attention to trivial issues in this part of the world than matter of concern.
Recall on 29th March 2023, Department of State Services ( DSS ) raised an alarm that some political Elites were plotting to install interim government against the President Elect, Senator Ahmed Bola Asiwaju Tinubu, popularly known as “City Boy”.
In an ideal clime, this revelation calls for serious concern.
Rather, we choose to trend an issue someone allegedly bribed a corrupt agency with the sum of twenty thousand dollars to distract us.
Between DSS’s outright revelation that some political Elites are plotting to install interim government and a misguided audio alleged to be the voices of Mr Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, for 2023 election and the General Overseer of Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, which one should trend?
Despite the obvious reason that most people are disastified with the outcome of 2023 election, the issue of Interim Government is not just a setback to our DEMO-‘CRAZY’ but also an invitation to anarchy.
The Question Nigerians should be asking are: Who are those plotting interim government? What are their reasons? and how ready our security personnel to resist these people?
Dishearteningly, we are trending a clone audio believed to be the voices of Mr Peter Obi and that of respected Bishop David Oyedepo.
Why are some people this dull? are we not aware that Technology can clone someone voice to make it almost 100% real?
Okay, if we can believe an audio this much, how come we refute a video trending President Muhammadu Buhari as Jibril of Sudan then?
What is wrong with us as a Nation that we can easily be this distracted?
Here in this country call Nigeria, Mc Oluomo openly in a viral video threatened to kill anyone who refuses to vote for All Progressive Congress ( APC ) in Lagos and nothing happens.
Also here in Nigeria too, some Mechanics, Barbers, Cleaners, Blacksmiths, Almajiris, and Marabouts, were misrepresented by APC to justify Muslim/ Muslim ticket, and it was never an issue.
But we are now making a clone audio voice an issue that some are even calling for the arrest of Mr Peter Obi and Bishop David Oyedepo.
If our security personnel could not arrest Mc Oluomo who was openly calling for carnage and some APC’s Chieftains like Fetus Kayemo, El-Rufai, FFK and several others who are making careless statements on the state of the Nation, cannot be arrested, why indicting Peter Obi and Bishop David Oyedepo of an Audio that we are not even sure of?
on a summary note, until the so-called Leaders realize to manage the situation that Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb following the outcome of 2023 general election, they will continue to use politics, religion, ethnicity and regionalism to cause mayhem for us”.
