A Multimillion Naira Hotel which is described by many as one of the best Hotels in Igala’s land belonging to political big weight, OKWO has has been burnt down.
The Multimillion Naira, Hotel is located in Ejule town, Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State was attacked late hour on 31st May 2023.
According to some residents of Ejule’s town who spoke with OurWorldGist, the miscreants carried out this barbaric act while shooting sporadically to scarce anyone away from stopping them.
Speaking to the owner of the Multimillion Naira Hotel, Mr Okwo said, ” I know where this attack is coming from and, I want to thank those behind this nefarious act for the job well done”.
” These Attackers did not only destroy my hotel but they also burnt down some of my vehicles and that of guests parked at the Hotel”.
” Infact, I ‘m still counting the properties destroyed which cannot be quantified at the moment”.
” But I want to assure those behind this action that, I’m for Igala and Igala is for me”.
” They have brought war to our land and by the grace of GOD ALMIGHTY and the spirits of our Ancestors, we shall fight this fight and win them”.
He added, ” the borderline has just been drawn and there is no retreat no surrender on Igala’s agenda”.
Meanwhile, cross section of Ejule’s Residents who spoke with OurWorldGist said, the attack was politically motivated especially that OKWO has made it public that he is for Igala’s agenda in the forthcoming Kogi’s gubernatorial election slated for 11th November 2023.
Okwo is a popular politician in Igala’s land that his support for any candidate of his choice cannot be underrated.
